SJM Resorts Ltd, the Macau gaming licence holder of Hong Kong-listed SJM Holdings Ltd, has confirmed to GGRAsia that it will give a “special discretionary bonus, equivalent to one month’s salary” for work in 2025, and payable to eligible staff.
The information had initially been in an SJM Resorts internal memo seen by GGRAsia.
The company stated: “SJM Resorts Ltd confirms that the company has announced a special discretionary bonus, equivalent to one month’s salary, to all eligible employees in appreciation of the team’s contributions and commitment over the past year.”
The firm added: “The bonus will be distributed on 30 January 2026.” The group runs casinos on Macau peninsula, as well as the Grand Lisboa Palace resort in Cotai.
The update about the payment means the group is the fifth of Macau’s six casino operators to announce publicly a bonus for work in 2025.
