GGRAsia – Macau casinos welcome 2016 with glitzy celebrations

Several casino properties in Macau hosted New Year countdown parties to welcome 2016, inviting international stars and putting on special shows
Broadway Macau – opened by Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd in May – held its first ever New Year countdown party, with more than 6,400 in attendance, according to the firm
A crowd of over 1,000 revellers joined the countdown at Studio City, Macau’s newest casino resort, said operator Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. The event featured a performance by U.S. singer-songwriter Kelis
Sands China Ltd’s Venetian Macao welcomed 2016 with a party at its outdoor lagoon featuring a 3-D light and sound show. Festivities also included a concert by Hong Kong singer Eason Chan at the resort’s Cotai Arena
