Macau casino concessionaire Wynn Macau Ltd hosted on October 16 the opening ceremony of the “Wynn Inspiring Through Talents Nurturing Program 2025”.

The company said in a press release that the programme aims in assisting Macau young people and Wynn employees “to enhance their professional skills and broaden opportunities for career development, by providing … a diverse learning platform”.

The opening ceremony comprised the “Wynn Return to School Program” inauguration ceremony, and the “5th Wynn Culinary Apprentice Program” commencement ceremony, “comprehensively demonstrating Wynn’s long-term commitment to local talent cultivation,” stated the casino firm.

The “Wynn Return to School Prograe” was developed by Wynn Macau Ltd in partnership with Escola Seong Fan of the Macao Chamber of Commerce.

“The programme aligns with Macau’s day-time secondary education curriculum, allowing graduates to pursue further studies at tertiary institutions,” as per the update.

To support its staff, Wynn Macau Ltd said it has set up dedicated classrooms and teaching facilities in the back-of-house areas of its properties and provided a “flexible” work schedule to workers enrolled in the programme.

According to the announcement, the “Wynn Culinary Apprentice Program” was launched in 2021 in collaboration with Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional, under an initiative of Macau’s Education and Youth Development Bureau.

“The programme has successfully trained nearly 60 culinary arts students to date, injecting new energy into Macau’s catering industry and constantly reinforcing the local talent pool,” stated the casino firm.
