Wynn Macau Ltd has donated MOP600,000 (US$74,807) to support the annual Tung Sin Tong fundraising campaign, and topped it up with proceeds from servings of “Prosperity Marinated Chicken”, a dish created jointly by the Wynn group and Tung Sin Tong.

The casino concessionaire said that thanks to the popularity of the charity dish, in all MOP780,000 was donated “to support Tung Sin Tong’s extensive charitable and poverty-alleviation efforts, which benefit individuals… throughout the Macau community”.

A ceremony to present a cheque for that amount to Tung Sin Tong was held in November at the Wynn Palace casino resort.

Wynn Macau Ltd says it has supported Tung Sin Tong through charitable donations for 19 consecutive years, “and will continue to actively promote charity services throughout Macau”.

In addition to the donation, the company said it also invited Tung Sin Tong “to promote the benefits of enhancing one’s physical and mental well-being, while also sharing social service information” with the Wynn group employees.

“The objective of these efforts is to promote the positive spirit of caring and mutual respect amongst Wynn team members,” stated the company.
