Gaming supplier Zitro International says it has implemented an energy efficiency policy across all company facilities.
Through measures including “implementing efficient technologies, and promoting behaviours among its employees to reduce unnecessary consumption,” Zitro said it is working to “mitigate its environmental impact by reducing greenhouse gas emissions,” stated the company in an October press release.
Zitro said the group’s environmental, social and governance committee would conduct an employee training programme “to promote the adoption of responsible practices in all daily activities”.
The announcement cited Marta Cuesta, Zitro’s vice president of product and development, as saying: “We recognise the importance of sustainability and are fully aware of the environmental impact of our energy consumption.”
She added: “We are committed to implementing an energy policy that helps us mitigate our greenhouse gas emissions, setting an example in our industry and driving significant changes,” for “a more sustainable future.”
