Australia-listed slot machine maker and online gaming content provider Aristocrat Leisure Ltd said on Wednesday that Andy Hendrickson has resigned as the group’s chief technology officer, “and accepted a role at a competitor”. The announcement did not disclose the competitor.
“Aristocrat has put in place interim leadership arrangements to ensure continuity while a rigorous internal and external search for a successor is completed,” stated the gaming supplier.
Mr Hendrickson, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States, became Aristocrat’s chief technology officer in July 2021. His contractual obligations include a six-month notice period, according to Wednesday’s update.
Aristocrat’s chief executive and managing director, Trevor Croker, was cited as saying: “We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the last four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course.”
