Inspire Entertainment Resort, a leisure complex with foreigner-only casino at Incheon in South Korea, hosted a special event on December 22, inviting to the property a group of children from Incheon Boramae Children’s Center, a child protection facility.

An Inspire representative was quoted saying in a December 24 press release, that the property has a “long-standing relationship” in supporting the centre. The representative added Inspire had for this festive season “organised various programmes to share warm Christmas memories and offer small moments of comfort and encouragement” in the daily lives of the children.

Activities included a buffet meal at the resort’s Chef’s Kitchen, a Santa gift-giving ceremony, art experiences, and a “colour hunting” activity.

Additionally on December 16, Inspire presented KRW10-million (about US$7,000) worth of transportation card credits (pictured above) through the Jung-gu Community Social Welfare Council. The aim is to help local young people participate more freely in educational and career development activities.

In other moves, a donation-based yoga programme called “Together to Inspire” – held on December 8 – led to the property donating KRW4 million to Incheon General Social Welfare Center. The sum represented KRW1.8 million raised from the programme itself, plus KRW2.2 million in matching contributions from Inspire. The donated funds will be used to support children at risk of missing meals during the winter school break.
