Casino industry trade show and conference Global Gaming Expo (G2E Asia) 2026 starts in Macau today (Tuesday).

G2E Asia 2026 is being held at Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao and will run until Thursday (May 14) inclusive. The event is organised by RX (Reed Exhibitions), and presented by the American Gaming Association.

Grant Chum Kwan Lock, chief executive and president of Macau casino operator Sands China Ltd, is to give a keynote address today in the morning.

The organisers expect G2E Asia 2026 and a concurrent event at the venue – the Asian IR Expo trade show and conference, looking at non-gaming elements of integrated resorts (IRs) – to yield in aggregate 8,000 attendees.

The G2E Asia 2026 exhibitor list boasts at least 85 attendee companies and organisations, per the official website. They are drawn from at least 21 countries and regions, and represent a total of 20 product categories.

The biggest portion are either: the table games and accessories providers; general gaming equipment suppliers; slot machine providers; gaming software and systems businesses; or the gaming peripherals and accessories firms.

On the first day of the G2E Asia conference, Michael Grimes, a principal at GGRAsia, will moderate a panel featuring senior industry executives on the topic “Marketplaces in Motion”. It will cover topics including younger gaming patrons and their preferences; and explore how digital innovation is reshaping customer experiences.

Scheduled to join that panel are: Kenneth Feng Xiaofeng, chief executive and an executive director at Macau operator MGM China Holdings Ltd; Gregory Hawkins, president and chief operating officer of Philippines-based casino operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp; and Walt Power, CEO of the Grand Ho Tram Resort in Vietnam.

Thursday afternoon sessions of the Asian IR Expo conference tackle topics including the role of sports and other entertainment in large resorts.

Contributors include: Jeffrey Jiang, executive vice president for entertainment services at Macau operator Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd; and David He, vice president for entertainment business development at Sands China.
