Casino games and technology provider Galaxy Gaming Inc says Anand Singh (pictured) has become the company’s chief technology officer (CTO).
A Tuesday statement from the United States-based firm said the appointment was with effect from July 6.
He leads the group’s technology strategy and engineering organisation.
Mr Singh is described as a seasoned industry executive and specialist in gaming platforms, cloud-based systems and “large-scale product development”.
He was most recently senior director of engineering at Agilysys Inc, an international provider of hospitality-sector software products and services. Prior to that, he had served in various senior leadership roles over nearly two decades at casino games supplier Light & Wonder Inc and its legacy setup.
Matt Reback, Galaxy Gaming’s president and chief executive, said in prepared remarks via the update: “Anand brings the technical leadership, industry expertise, and forward-thinking mindset we need to help us continue accelerating innovation and execution.’
The CEO added: “Galaxy [Gaming] has been making waves with our unique combination of world-class technologies and brands, so Anand’s focus will be finding new ways to harness and expand this combination.”
The statement has also cited Mr Singh as saying: “The company has a strong vision and compelling product road map, and I look forward to working closely with the team to deliver innovative, high-quality table game experiences to our partners and players worldwide.”
