Andrea Aguirre-Jugueta, who has served as a vice president for strategic partnerships at Solaire Resort & Casino in the Philippine capital Manila, said in a posting on her LinkedIn profile she had “started a new chapter” as vice president, private access, at the under-development Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In the casino industry, ‘private access’ typically refers to gaming or non-gaming areas of a property that are reserved for higher-tier players or other top customers.
Wynn Resorts Ltd is a 40-percent equity partner in the US$5.1-billion Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is due to launch next year.
Ms Aguirre-Jugueta stated in her posting: “I’ve always believed that the most meaningful work begins long before the doors open.”
She added: “Stepping into a project of this scale, at this stage, is both an honour and a responsibility.”
