The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has added two new members from Asia to its roster, it said.

The new Asian members are Ganlot Inc, from Taiwan; and the Seoul National University of Science and Technology, in South Korea, GSA announced in a Tuesday press release.

According to the release, GSA has recently welcomed 14 new members, bringing total membership of the body to 59 organisations, including casino operators, gaming suppliers, gaming-related associations, regulators and higher education institutions.

“We are pleased to welcome this diverse roster of members to the Gaming Standards Association. GSA is excited about gaming’s future as iGaming expands internationally,” GSA President Peter DeRaedt was quoted as saying in the release.

He added: “We stand ready to help the industry find the path forward, encouraging collaboration, and providing the tools necessary to do so.”

Taiwan’s Ganlot is a supplier of electronic components and software for casino and lottery-related products.

Seoul National University of Science and Technology is one of South Korea’s national higher education institutions. It has a strong focus on engineering and technology.

The GSA is an international trade association aiming to work toward common technical standards for gaming technology across the casino games industry. Earlier this year, the association released the latest versions respectively of 11 GSA technical standards for electronic gaming equipment used in casinos.
