A total of 176 exhibitors have confirmed their presence in the 2017 edition of the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), said the event’s organiser, the Gaming Technologies Association.

“With 20 percent more floor space than what we had in 2016, 90 percent of the floor space has already been taken by 176 exhibitors,” the association stated in a press release issued on Thursday. The body added: “This is exciting news with nine months to go until the show’s start date, which is the world’s third largest casino gaming equipment exhibition.”

The casino and gaming industry trade event will be held from August 15 to 17 inclusive, and the total area dedicated to the 2017 show amounts to 19,000 square metres (204,500 sq feet), according to the organiser.

The event will move to a new home for the 2017 edition: the newly-built International Convention Centre Sydney at Darling Harbour in Sydney, New South Wales.

AGE 2017 will also be running complimentary seminars for registered exhibition visitors. The seminars will include a “Global CEOs Forum” and a “Women in Gaming” event, along with a range of other sessions.

Visitor attendance for this year’s edition of AGE was the highest in the 27-year history of the event, according to figures from the organisers. The three-day gathering welcomed a total of 6,813 visitors and 195 exhibitors, the organisers had stated shortly after the show.
