Casino cash handling and transaction technology specialist SuzoHapp Group has a new corporate logo. The firm says it is designed to signify the evolution of the business and its move into areas including self-service payment and gaming devices.

“The icon within the logo represents the focus for SuzoHapp in serving its customers; through the key concepts speed, flexibility and agility,” the company said in a press release.

It added: “The icon can be seen as a stack of coins; so relating to the focus on cash management within the company.”

Matthew Brown, SuzoHapp’s president and chief financial officer, noted in a statement contained in the press release: “Our company has transformed itself… This logo portrays this transformation and at the same time points to the future…”

Geoffrey McDowell, the firm’s managing director for Asia Pacific, told GGRAsia during the Macao Gaming Show – a casino trade exhibition and conference held in Macau in November – that the group was developing what he termed five vertical segments: amusement products; and ones for transportation, gaming, retailing and banking.

SuzoHapp was traditionally an amusement and gaming technology company developing and distributing machine components for equipment operators and original manufacturers.

It became active in the field of cash handling following the acquisition in 2014 of Italy-based currency technology firm Comesterogroup SRL, and the acquisition of Sweden-based cash handling technology company Scan Coin AB.
