Electronic gaming equipment supplier Aruze Gaming America Inc says that with effect from Wednesday, it is offering all purchasers of new APX electronic gaming machines produced by the firm, six-year support for hardware, software and servicing.
The offer applies to all new APX electronic table games, APX video slot machines and APX stepper slot machines, and will run from the date of purchase.
Eric Persson, president and chief operating officer of Aruze Gaming America, said in a prepared statement contained in Wednesday’s release that the offer would give its customers “visibility” regarding the “life cycle” of the cabinet.
Aruze Gaming America is currently being sued via a Japanese court by Japanese gaming conglomerate Universal Entertainment Corp. Universal Entertainment was founded and formerly chaired by Japanese entrepreneur Kazuo Okada, who controls Aruze Gaming America.
On October 3 Aruze Gaming America had announced a revamp of its senior management, which its chief executive and chairman Takahiro Usui said would enhance the firm’s capabilities.
