Interblock completes 100-seat stadium installation at RWM

Electronic casino table game supplier Interblock DD says it has completed a 100-seat stadium-style installation of machines at the Resorts World Manila casino complex. The latter property – also known as RWM – is located in the Philippine capital Manila, close to the country’s main international air hub, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The stadium at Resorts World Manila features two live baccarat tables, two live roulette tables and a BigSix Super Spin wheel, Interblock said. The 100 play stations feature 27-inch monitors that allow players to follow each active game, and enable players to place wagers game by game or simultaneously across a number of games, the firm added.

The stadium includes four large-size, high-definition LCD displays, providing players with live video feeds of the games’ progress, statistics and trends.

According to Interblock, the BigSix Super Spin game “is exclusive” to Resorts World Manila. It features a bonus with a payout of up to 1,000 times the original bet. The payout feature concept came from Resorts World Manila’s chief gaming officer Hakan Dagtas (pictured, right), according to an Interblock announcement.

The firm said in the press release issued on Wednesday that the installation originally went live on January 15.

“We are thrilled to provide the luxury and style of electronic table gaming to Resorts World Manila,” said Michael Hu (pictured, left), Interblock’s president of Asia Pacific, in a statement included in the press release. “This is another significant installation for Interblock in the Philippines,” he added.

In an interview with GGRAsia in November, Mr Hu said Interblock was confident about expanding its presence in Macau, as the company was getting ready to install its first multi-game machines in the market.

Interblock has been active in other jurisdictions across Asia, announcing last year new installations in South Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam.

Resorts World Manila in owned and operated by Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. The latter is a venture between Philippine conglomerate Alliance Global Group Inc and casino ship operator and gaming resort investor Genting Hong Kong Ltd.
