Electronic casino table game supplier Interblock DD says it is expanding its footprint at Resorts World Casino New York City, in the United States.

“The expansion takes the product portfolio of Interblock to nearly 1,000 seats at the property,” the firm said in a Thursday press release.

Resorts World Casino New York City is controlled by Malaysia-based Genting Malaysia Bhd. The latter has casino operations in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Egypt, the U.S., and the Bahamas.

“Interblock continues to… enhance our customers’ experiences” with its innovations, said the president of Resorts World Casino New York City, Scott Molina, in prepared comments included in Interblock’s release.

The press release said “imminent” Interblock product additions to Resorts World Casino New York City included 43 player stations for its Diamond Stadium, taking the number of player stations for that installation to 52. Interblock is also deploying its new Big Six Super Spin and Diamond Video Blackjack products at the property, representing an additional 38 player stations.

In comments featured in the press release, John Connelly, chief executive of Interblock, stated the casino equipment supplier valued its partnership with Genting Malaysia.

Mr Connelly added Interblock would also install a Pulse Arena at Resorts World Casino New York City “this summer”. The latter product aims to offer a “hybrid experience comprised of gaming and social atmospheres” in an arena-like setup, according to the firm. It is a multi-game modular product featuring live DJs and dealers that, according to Interblock, can help generate different playing atmospheres, adjustable to different player demographics.

The firm’s business in Asia covers more than 7,000 play stations, including recent installations in Vietnam and South Korea. In May, Interblock announced it had renewed a three-year deal to lease automated gaming systems to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor). The latter is both a regulator of casinos and an operator of gaming facilities – branded Casino Filipino – in the Philippines.
