Casino equipment and digital-content provider Light & Wonder Inc is showcasing its latest slot cabinets and titles, electronic table game (ETG) platforms, and progressive table system at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, running from May 12 to May 14 at The Venetian Macao.

Products include its “Cosmic Dual” slot cabinet, the latest addition to its Cosmic-branded hardware series.

Cosmic Dual is said to feature dual 27-inch high resolution displays, with a “minimal” bezel for content presentation, and the touchscreen player interface “iDeck”, according to a Thursday announcement from Light & Wonder.

Other Light & Wonder products at the trade show include a portfolio of “new and evolving” slot titles.

Those include “Fortune Doors”, said to offer a “layered approach” to a hold and spin mechanic; and “Joyup”, building on the firm’s “Jin Ji Bao Xi” slot series via “new mechanics designed to drive player engagement”.

For the ETG segement, Light & Wonder will be displaying its Obsidian cabinet and Obsidian Hybrid platform, in stadium and pod configurations.

The Obsidian cabinet features a 27-inch high-resolution display. The product is said to have the capability to offer tournament play, multi-game play and digital-signage updates via application program interface.

The Obsidian Hybrid platform can be run automatically or in live-dealer setup, and gameplay can be configured across multiple table formats, per the company’s pre-show press release.

At the trade show, the supplier will also introduce Nexlink, a progressive table system designed to integrate with existing table game infrastructure.

Nexlink is said to combine capabilities for “updated game content with synchronised lighting and audio”, as well as bonus features, and a backend offering “streamlined reporting, customisable dashboards, and data-driven insights”.

“G2E Asia is a key opportunity to demonstrate the momentum behind our market-attuned content and hardware portfolio,” said Siobhan Lane, chief executive, gaming at Light & Wonder, in prepared remarks included in the Thursday update.

“We’re focused on delivering proven-performing games and integrated solutions that support our customers’ operational goals and resonate with players on the casino floor,” the Light & Wonder senior executive stated.
