Lotte Tour’s March casino sales up 24pct y-o-y to circa US$26.8mln

March casino sales for Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd rose 24.3 percent year-on-year, to nearly KRW40.40 billion (US$26.8 million).

Judged month-on-month, they rose 23.8 percent, the firm added in a Wednesday filing to the Korea Exchange.

March table-game sales accounted for KRW38.35 billion, up 24.0 percent year-on-year, and up 24.3 percent from February.

March machine-game sales tallied KRW2.05 billion, a 30.3-percent gain from the prior-year period, and 15.4-percent up on February.

March hold from table games was 20.3 percent, up 0.7 percentage points from March 2025, per corporate materials. March’s machine-game hold was 7.5 percent, unchanged year-on-year.

The property logged 53,587 casino visitors in March, up 31.7 percent year-on-year, and up 22.0 percent from February.

Hotel sales for March this year were KRW5.88 billion, a rise of 43.3 percent year-on-year, but down 9.9 percent sequentially.

For the first quarter, casino sales totalled KRW118.63 billion, up 40.3 percent year-on-year. The quarter’s hotel sales were KRW18.03 billion, a rise of 27.9 percent.

The company’s March casino drop – the amount paid by customers to purchase chips in table games – rose 19.6 percent year-on-year, and 24.7 percent month-on-month, to KRW188.90 billion.

Lotte Tour’s total first-quarter casino drop was KRW573.87 billion, up 36.7 percent.

No commentary was provided on the reasons for the respective year-on-year and month-on-month changes.

In February, Lotte Tour reported full-year net income of nearly KRW37.08 billion. In 2024 it had a net loss amounting to KRW116.57 billion.
