The number of Michelin-starred restaurants based at Macau casino resorts has increased in the 2026 edition of the “Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau” from the previous year.

The annual list of starred restaurants was announced on Thursday, with two restaurants in Macau newly awarded one Michelin star.

The latest edition of the guide was announced at a ceremony at Grand Lisboa Palace in Cotai, a resort promoted by casino firm SJM Holdings Ltd. The new rundown features 21 restaurants in Macau, up from 19 in the 2025 edition.

Palace Garden, at the Grand Lisboa Palace complex, has been elevated from Michelin Selected to a one-star rating. So has Don Alfonso 1890, the first Asian outlet of the renowned Italian restaurant from the latter country’s Sorrento Coast. Don Alfonso 1890 is housed within the Palazzo Versace hotel at Grand Lisboa Palace.

In the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2026, the Macau restaurants designated as three-star remain French-cuisine outlet Robuchon au Dôme, located at downtown’s Grand Lisboa Hotel, also run by SJM Holdings; and Jade Dragon at City of Dreams, a Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd property.

Chinese restaurant Chef Tam’s Seasons kept its two-star rating in this year’s edition, a standard first achieved in the 2025 edition. The restaurant is led by chef Tam Kwok Fung at Wynn Palace, a property promoted by Wynn Macau Ltd.

Macau’s other two-star eateries in this year’s guide are: The Huaiyang Garden, located at The Londoner Macao, a resort run by Sands China Ltd; The Eight, a Chinese restaurant at Grand Lisboa; Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, in City of Dreams; Feng Wei Ju at StarWorld Hotel, a Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd property; and Wing Lei, at the Wynn Macau complex.

Aji, headed by Singaporean chef Pan Sihui, maintained its one Michelin star in this year’s edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau. The outlet is located at MGM Cotai, a property of MGM China Holdings Ltd.

The other seven restaurants with one Michelin star in Macau are: 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo – Bombana, and Lai Heen at the Ritz-Carlton, Macau, both within Galaxy Macau; Sichuanese restaurant Five Foot Road at MGM Cotai; Pearl Dragon, at Melco Resorts’ Studio City complex; plus Ying at Altira Macau, and Sushi Kinetsu at City of Dreams, the latter two being properties run by Melco Resorts; and Zi Yat Heen at the Four Seasons Macao, a Sands China venue.

The full selection of this year’s edition of the Michelin Guide features 59 restaurants in Macau, encompassing 13 Bib Gourmand outlets and 25 ‘selected’ food establishments. There is also one ‘Green Star’ restaurant from Macau listed in the guide.

The year 2026 celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Michelin starring system. A total of 278 establishments across Macau and Hong Kong earned recognition in the 2026 edition of the guide.
