Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd has warned about advertisements on social media for a resort in Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam which call the resort “Nha Trang Galaxy’s” and bear a logo similar to that of Galaxy Entertainment.
Galaxy Entertainment issued on Friday a written statement saying that it operates no hotel or resort in Vietnam and has no association with any hotel or resort there.
The company added it considers the advertisements a serious infringement of its intellectual property rights, and was investigating the matter. Galaxy Entertainment stated it intended to take appropriate legal action.
The statement advises consumers not to be misled by the advertisements.
